GalenYour alien botanist
Galen, the Galactic Garden alien botanist, a small green being with leaf antennae and purple overalls, holding a potted sprout in a sunny garden.

Galen came a long way to help. He notices every small win, cheers each new leaf, and never once makes you feel behind.

Every plant becomes a character.

Plant care falls apart the second it feels like a chore. So we made your plants impossible to forget. Each one becomes a character with a name, a face, and a voice, so checking in feels like catching up with someone you love, not ticking a box.

  • Your monstera brags about her boldest split. Your fern saves you a frond. You actually want to open the app.
  • Keep the name Galen dreams up, or make it your own.
  • Open any plant to see its whole story so far, every leaf and comeback, kept forever.
Your real plant → their character

Snap the real plant, and Galen paints it into the glowing character you'll actually want to check on.

The care, handled

Never lose another plant to guesswork.

Reminders that bend to your home and your week, never a rigid calendar that shames you.

  • Plain talk, not a chore list. "A sip in about a day." "Resting this week."
  • A quiet week still counts as care. No streaks to break, no guilt.
  • Free, for every plant you own, forever.

Two ways to garden

There's a whole Galactic mode to explore.

Galactic mode threads real sacred geometry through every leaf and gives each plant a star-family signature, a gentle cosmic read tied to its kind. Earth mode keeps it grounded: just your plants and their care. Flip between them whenever the mood takes you.

Offered softly in setup. Never a quiz, never required.

Something off with a plant? Ask Galen.

Snap the plant that's worrying you. Galen takes a look and tells you, in plain words with zero shame, what's going on and three gentle things to try. Free, and you'll be on the early list too.

Your photo's only used to read the plant right then, never stored. One reading gets you the reading and a spot on the early-access list. No spam, no pressure.

Your monstera
She's in real trouble, but there's still time to bring her back.
This much yellowing, drooping, and crispy brown all at once usually means her roots have been sitting wet too long while the top dried out unevenly. It's serious, but a plant with this many stems still has plenty left to work with.
  1. Stop watering completely until the top two inches feel dry. Right now, less is far kinder than more.
  2. Move her to bright, indirect light, back from any harsh glass, so she can rest while she recovers.
  3. Clip only the fully brown, crispy leaves. Anything still part-green is still feeding her.
If she's this far gone, last resorts
  • Slide her out of the pot and check the roots. Firm and pale is good; brown, mushy, or sour-smelling means rot.
  • Trim away any mushy roots and dead leaves with clean scissors, then repot in fresh, barely-damp mix.
  • Root one healthy cutting in water as backup. Even if she struggles, a piece of her carries on.
Even far-gone monsteras surprise people. Give her a few gentle weeks before you decide anything.
